ALF Partners with BFS to push DRC & Lockbox

[Oct. 19, 2009 -- Phoenix] “Beyond Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) the race for change has begun!” states Fred Campos, Vice President of Sales for Arizona Lockbox & Fulfillment (ALF). “The banking tides are shifting; more banks want to outsource their lockbox business, but continue to offer those services. We are continuing to develop our partner network and increase our lockbox footprint around the country. ALF offers six, low cost, lockbox solutions to fit any client’s needs.”

To help assist banks and clients in the Ohio area, ALF has partnered with Dayton based, Breckenridge Financial Services (BFS). “Our banks and end-users are very interested in remittance services,” states Bernard Jergens, General Manager of BFS. “However, these hard economical times have not allowed customers to purchase in-house remittance solutions and they are now looking for outsourcing alternatives. Clients need more advanced technology above and beyond electronically depositing items to the bank. The ability to scan full page invoices, remittances, surveys, envelopes, and EOBs, without concern for formatting or keying, greatly appeals to our customer base. Clients will log through a secure browser to research their scanned items, verify their electronic deposit, and download their custom posting files. ALF’s new Distributed Remittance Capture (DRC) is perfect for those clients who want to control their mail but have all the features of advanced lockbox remittance for a small per item charge. We are honored to promote DRC and ALF’s other full service offerings.”

Ron Edens, President of ALF, further adds, “Our full service offerings consist of: 1) outsourced reshipment lockbox, 2) imaging and data capture, 3) fulfillment and clerical specialty services, 4) the new distributed remittance capture, 5) business payment continuance disaster recovery services, and 6) full color bill design, printing and mailing. All together, we offer banks and their clients, a complete array of custom outsourced solutions.”

ALF's Distributed Remittance Capture

Bank's Unhealthy RDC!

Would you like to super size that? In these tight economical and competitive times, is your remote deposit capture (RDC) just a number three hamburger? Having clients scan their own checks to save trips to the bank is about as nutritious as a drive thru combo meal. While increasing RDC may enlarge the bank’s depositor footprint and reduce their POD check processing, the client is left digesting oversize work. The client manually balances and updates their accounts receivables as before, and now you biggie sized them to run their checks on your RDC solution.

ALF's New Healthy DRC!

What if they could scan anything they wanted with the invoices, remittance, and forms in addition to the checks? What if the images were encrypted, uploaded to a lockbox for processing, deposited and accounting data extracted. DRC is that solution! It’s all the power of lockbox package in a convenient custom to-go salad. It gives clients healthy time saving benefits, allows banks to increase their remote deposit which together makes for one great value meal.

Do you want distributed remittance capture with that?

ALF on Track with DRC as Chase Releases Theirs

There is no question now that Arizona Lockbox & Fulfillment's press release last Friday of "Distributed Remittance Capture" is catching on, as J.P. Morgan Chase announced a similar product today, their "Virtual Remit" solution as part of their September 22nd press release.

"We are on the right track," states Fred Campos, Vice President of Sales for ALF, "when a major bank recognizes remittance capture as an extension of lockbox services to provide low-cost capture solutions to clients. This is where the industry is going. Vendors need to wake up and follow suit. Our solution is available for any bank and any client who wants to update any accounts receivable system without keying, custom software or a big capital investment. DRC is the next generation beyond RDC for these economical times."

ALF Partners with TDS to Rollout DRC

ALF Partners with TDS to Rollout
Distributed Remittance Capture (DRC)

[Sept. 18, 2009 -- Phoenix] “Move over Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), it’s time for something new!” states Fred Campos, Vice President of Sales for Arizona Lockbox & Fulfillment (ALF). “As we continue to increase our lockbox footprint around the country, ALF is now offering a simple, low cost distributed remittance solution. This very simple concept brings all the power of advanced lockbox services right to the door of clients and banks who need it without a large financial investment.”

ALF’s Distributed Remittance Capture (DRC) is a bundled, turnkey solution that enables remittance clients and banks to open and scan their work without the large investment in image technology. “The real power,” states Fred Campos, “of DRC is its enabling the client to run full page invoices, EOBs, remittance coupons, envelopes, surveys, data forms & checks on a single customized image platform. The system will encrypt the scanned images and push them up to ALF’s internal lockbox servers located in Phoenix, AZ and Frederick, MD. ALF’s software technology and expert staffing will organize the images and process the work much like it does with its traditional lockbox clients. The clients, or bank’s clients, have access to web based searchable images, a downloadable posting A/R file, and electronically deposited checks.”

Ron Edens, President of ALF, realizes that we are in hard economical times and in-house lockbox solutions are expensive and not always practical without justifiable volume. “Banks want to offer lockbox services but don’t want to be in the lockbox business. Sensitive, complicated, non-profit, retail, government and political clients cannot always re-route their mail to one of our facilities but they are willing to open their mail locally, either as a cost saving measure or simply for control. The ALF DRC solution targets and fits this market.”

To complete this turnkey offering, ALF teamed up with hardware and service provider Technique Data Systems (TDS) who sells, rents, and supports a variety of remittance and full page scanners. “It is an honor and a privilege to be chosen to provide the hardware and related equipment maintenance as the backbone of this new paradigm. I think ALF is on to something big by offering banks the ability to push beyond RDC,” states Steve Baxter, President of TDS. “RDC still has a utility value to a bank’s corporate clients but the technology advantage has become another ‘me too’ commodity. ISO’s may take over the RDC market with or without banks. Bankers know that corporate clients want more than RDC can deliver, DRC is the next evolution and the competitive edge banks need to compete for corporate clients.”
